In lieu of something new…

I am warming up to produce new blog posts. Since the Writing Marathon I have gone quiet on this blog. Partly I have been massively distracted preparing for my wedding (yay!) and I have been really busy with the day job! It’s also probably true that the writing of some 12,000 words in 3 days wiped me out. Writing has taken a back seat.

Earlier this year I started to produce lists of possible topics for blogging. Here are some examples:

  1. Is being addicted to a smart phone a good idea?
  2. Why individuation makes more sense to me as I get older
  3. Approaches to Active Imagination
  4. Why I became a vegetarian
  5. The first time I heard Jon Hassell
  6. Who inspires me: Kate Bush
  7. Who inspires me: Margaret Atwood
  8. Kindness for others brings happiness to ourselves
  9. The drive within us that gets what it wants – the acorn principle
  10. An altruistic heart
  11. Being a maverick  and the need for a support network
  12. Simplifying the incoming channels in my life
  13. Hand written notes – when did you last send one
  14. Thank you – remembering to recognise the input of others in what we achieve
  15. Building an archive – why it’s not a vanity project
  16. Being in silence – what it felt like
  17. Controlling social media addiction – learning that you don’t have to keep up

Get in touch if you want any of those to become posts – and I will see what I can do. In the meantime, I have broken the silence which always makes the next post that much easier.

  1. Hi Su – thanks for the encouragement. Will be working on your suggestions. As they say: watch this space…

  2. Hi Stuart, what a great list and so much to choose from. Maybe there is another one, which is the ‘problem with choice’. I’d like:
    Being in silence….
    Mavarick and support network
    Acorn principle
    Building an archive

Happy blogging and looking forward to those tweets from special places.
