Insight Coaching: from values to action

The writing retreat is nearing the end, and I am really pleased to say that the first rough draft of “Insight Coaching” is completed. It will, of course, need work before it is ready to publish. If you are interested in how coaching can give deeper insights into the way we work, what we focus on and how we get there, then this is a book that you will enjoy reading. The book is of interest to other coaches, as well as to coaching clients who want to understand a bit more about how coaching can work.

There are chapters looking at the role of the entrepreneur ( a role which arguably, we all play these days), the maverick and the creative, as well as looking in depth at curiosity, purpose and how we see reality. There is also an in depth section looking at productivity. As I work on editing it in the coming weeks, I will share passages on the blog for you to read.

It has been a long struggle to get from the first stint of writing on this book to the completed first draft. I was lost in uncertainty for a long time, feeling that the book wasn’t reflecting its title, and that I hadn’t dug deeply enough to find the real content that I wanted to write about. The last three days has unlocked that. It is so true that the act of writing is a way to discover what we really think about things.

The great thing about having the means of production in our own hands, is that this book should be out there as complete and finished very soon, available for you to read, if you are interested. I don’t have to wait for the publishing schedule of a publisher. News will be on this site as soon as it is available.

Right now, I’m exhausted and excited all at the same time!
